Gomez releases new single ahead of debut solo album

Selena Gomez premiered the latest song off her upcoming debut solo album, Stars Dance, on Monday during a chat on her YouTube channel.

On the upbeat dance track Slow Down, she tells her lover she wants to take her time, " 'Cause I just wanna party all night in the neon lights till you can't let me go."

The driving Cataracs-produced club jam follows hit first single Come and Get It. She played it at the end of her chat after revealing the album's cover and 11-song track list. The Disney alum and on-and-off Justin Bieber girlfriend is set to release Stars Dance on July 23, a day after she turns 21.

Gomez will kick off the U.S. leg of her Stars Dance tour Oct. 10 in Fairfax, Va., after touring Canada and Europe during the summer.
