Emeli Sande to tour in the fall

The U.K.-based singer/songwriter Emeli Sande will spend more time in the USA in the coming months.

It was announced Monday that Sande — who is launching a new single, My Kind of Love, from debut album Our Version of Events — will begin a North American tour Oct. 11 in Miami Beach, with dates in Cincinnati, Birmingham, Nashville, Chicago and other cities following.

Sande has already made appearances at Lollapalooza and the ESSENCE Music Festival, and has additional concerts and festival gigs lined up this month, including the Outside Lands Festival in San Francisco on Saturday and the Made In America Festival in Philadelphia on Aug. 31.

She's also set to release Live At Royal Albert Hall, capturing her performance at the noted venue, exclusively at Target starting Aug. 27. On Oct. 8, it will be released widely on DVD and Blu-Ray, and in longform on iTunes.
