History of the Eagles tour expands 2014 run
The History of the Eagles Tour continues to build on its impressive history.
The outing, which broke house records in 2013, already pushed into 2014 with the announcement of California shows that include six dates that will re-launch the storied Forum in Inglewood, Calif.
The band is adding shows in Las Vegas, Dallas, Houston, New Orleans, Atlanta, Raleigh, N.C., Washington, D.C., Cincinnati and Columbus, Ohio.
Tickets for the new dates go on sale to the general public at 10 a.m. local time on Nov. 9. Advance ticket sales are open to American Express card members from 10 a.m. Nov. 4 to 10 p.m. Nov. 8.
Glenn Frey, Don Henley, Joe Walsh and Timothy B. Schmit will play classics spanning the band's career, including tunes never before performed live and songs highlighted in the documentary History of the Eagles, now on DVD and Blu-ray.
The film, the year's top-selling music video, offers concert footage, rare archival material and home movies that trace the evolution of the popular, enduring band.
