CMA Entertainer of the Year George Strait: 'What?'

Now that's a great speech opener.

When George Strait won the Country Music Association Entertainer of the Year award on Wednesday night at the CMA Awards, his first word was, "what?"

Hand over his heart, he thanked a long line of people including his wife Norma, his son Bubba and his grandson, George III. "Oh my gosh. Never in a million years, thank you so much. My dad's been having some pretty good conversations up there," he said. The veteran artist bested Taylor Swift, Jason Aldean, Luke Bryan and Blake Shelton for the evening's top honor.

Good Morning America's Robin Roberts, who presented the award, thanked country music artists and fans for keeping her entertained while she was recovering from breast cancer. "Last year, I was watching you between my toes in my sick bed," she says. "Your beautiful music, great comfort, and I thank all of you for your prayers and the love you sent my way this past year."
