Due out in North America on January 21st, 2014, material from MTV UNPLUGGED is taken from the Scorpions’ first-ever “MTV Unplugged” show and features new acoustic versions of best-loved classic hits, as well as five brand new songs.

Let this be a lesson to all younger acts complaining of working too hard: Toughen up.
Hard rock band Scorpions, which formed in Germany in 1965, have been on their Farewell Tour for three years now, with no end announced yet. They've played 23 out of the 38 countries on the worldwide tour's itinerary.
Over the course of their career, they've put out 18 studio albums and five live records. Pretty impressive, right?
In September, the German rockers best known for hits like Rock You Like A Hurricane, No One Like You and Wind Of Change took their rowdy live show down a notch to record and film Scorpions MTV UNPLUGGED, which was culled from two acoustic sets at the Lycabettus, an open-air theater in Athens.
