Maroon 5 announces album release date

The magic day is Sept. 2.

At some point this summer, they will give a taste of the highly anticipated album, V, with a new single. This much we do know about the album so far, they enlisted the help of producers Max Martin, Benny Blanco, Ryan Tedder, Shellback and Sam Martin. After a long hiatus, keyboardist Jesse Carmichael rejoined the band.

You know what a new album means? A tour! Those dates will be announced in the next few weeks.
