Sam Smith announces North American tour

Rising artist Sam Smith has announced a North American tour.

The British singer-songwriter, who has three songs climbing Paste BN's top 40 airplay charts (Disclosure's Latch, Naughty Boy's La La La, and his own Stay With Me), kicks off the 15-city jaunt Sept. 15 in Boston. The tour includes performances at both weekends of the Austin City Limits music festival in October.

Tickets go on sale Friday.
