Foo Fighters recruit Tony Joe White for 'Letterman'
Foo Fighters whipped up some Polk Salad Annie with singer Tony Joe White Wednesday night.
The Dave Grohl-fronted band teamed with White on his 1968 hit as part of their week-long residency on The Late Show with David Letterman. Earlier this week, Foo recruited Heart's Wilson Sisters to play Kick It Out and Zac Brown for a cover of Black Sabbath's War Pigs.
Although he's also known for songs Rainy Night in Georgia and Old Man Willis, White is best remembered for Polk Salad Annie, which has been covered by the likes of Tom Jones and Elvis Presley.
