Maroon 5 crashes real weddings
In the music video for Sugar, Adam Levine says he and his band surprised newlyweds with a performance at their wedding reception. How did the party-crashing really go? Wedding photographer Eric Parsons tells us what it was really like.
(LIFE, Paste BN)
In the music video for Sugar, Adam Levine claims that he crashed a number of weddings one day in L.A. to perform Maroon 5's single. But the video was so smooth and the married couples were so beautiful, that we were left wondering, Is that legit?
Turns out, it is. (And there are a lot of attractive married folk in Hollywood.)
Wedding photographer Eric Parsons was shooting one of the weddings featured in the music video with photographer Liesl Diesel, and he tells Paste BN that the event was a huge surprise to almost everyone, including the bride, a Maroon 5 fan.
Via Skype, he reveals that Maroon5 sang Sugar twice at the reception, and then performed an acoustic version of She Will Be Loved.
"It was very surreal,' he said.
