Kanye West: 'Not smiling makes me smile'

Recently, Kanye West and Kim Kardashian joined John Legend and Chrissy Tiegen at the Waffle House. Everyone looked as though they were having a grand time… except for Kanye.

So on the Grammys red carpet, when Kanye looked equally miserable, Ryan Seacrest asked, why the long face? Kanye's response:

"Yeah that's my look, everyone knows it now! Not smiling makes me smile."

More insightful commentary followed. Ryan asked about how Kanye continues to innovate:

Kanye: "I just get bored with things really easily and try to find something that excites me."

Ryan: "So that Attention Deficit Disorder is a good thing, it keeps you moving ahead."

Kanye: "Yeah, definitely. It's also just called thinking."
