Zac Brown Band adds third Fenway Park date

In August, the Zac Brown Band will become the first musical act to play a three-night run at Boston's Fenway Park.

The country band has added a third night at the home of the Boston Red Sox after selling out a pair of shows at the baseball stadium. Tickets for the Aug. 9 concert will go on sale March 27.

"The popularity of Zac Brown Band in Boston was evident to us last year when they sold out Fenway Park," Red Sox executive vice president and COO Sam Kennedy said via a news release. "We are thrilled to welcome them back to the ballpark for the second consecutive year for three more shows this August."

The band will release its new album, Jekyll + Hyde, April 28 and begin a summer tour three days later in Nashville. The tour will also include a stop in Denver, where the group will become the first act to play Coors Field.
