Rihanna's 'American Oxygen' is only on Tidal

A Tidal wave of exclusive releases have hit Jay Z's streaming service, which relaunched with a star-studded event in New York last week.

Rihanna's song American Oxygen, only teased during March Madness on TV until now, was released in full on Tidal this weekend. After performing the ballad at the March Madness festival in Indianapolis Saturday night, the pop star tweeted out a link to the track's studio version, which can solely be played on Tidal for the time being:

A video of her nearly 40-minute set in Indianapolis founds its way online, including American Oxygen at the 2:45 mark. (Fair warning: Some of her other performances contain language and obscene gestures.)

RiRi isn't the only megawatt artist enticing fans with Tidal exclusives: Beyoncé premiered a new song and video on the streaming service Saturday. Titled Die With You and featuring Mrs. Carter on piano, the love song was written for husband Jay Z for their seventh anniversary.

Madonna also got in on the fun, offering fans a sneak peek at her new Ghosttown music video, also only available on the site (although, a rip of the black-and-white teaser has already made its way to YouTube). The full video is expected this week.

The price plans for the subscriber-based streaming service vary depending on sound quality, ranging from $9.99 a month to $19.99. The starry list of Tidal backers also includes Coldplay, Nicki Minaj, Kanye West, Daft Punk, and others.
