Taylor, Kendrick lead MTV VMA nominations
Taylor Swift's Bad Blood is getting some mad love from MTV.
Her star-studded collaboration with Kendrick Lamar is the most-nominated clip going into next month's Video Music Awards, with seven nods including video of the year. The pop star's videos are up for a total of nine Moonmen (two for revenge fantasy Blank Space), while Lamar's will vie for a whopping 13 honors (his socially conscious Alright, up for video of the year; and Flying Lotus' Never Catch Me, on which he's featured, competing for best choreography).
Other artists up for top trophies include Beyoncé (for viral sensation 7/11), Ed Sheeran (top-10 hits Thinking Out Loud and Don't), and Mark Ronson's long-reining No. 1 Uptown Funk (featuring Bruno Mars). Up-and-comers Fetty Wap, FKA Twigs and Charlie Puth are also in contention for multiple prizes.
Attention-grabber Miley Cyrus will host the VMAs live from Los Angeles' Microsoft Theater on Sunday, Aug. 30 (MTV, 9 p.m. ET/PT). Fans can begin casting votes Tuesday at mtv.vma.com.
