Playlist: Old Dominion's summertime favorites

Straight outta Nashville, the five-man country band Old Dominion are celebrating their win for new vocal group of the year at last month's ACM Awards with a vacation of sorts, performing on the sunny, sandy Fort Lauderdale beaches at this weekend's Tortuga Music Fest.

Ahead of their Tortuga performance, the band shared their go-to songs for summertime cruising, BBQing and partying, from old-school hip hop to reggae classics.

It Was a Good Day - Ice Cube

One of the best songs ever written. It’s so real. Turn it up. Roll the windows down and drive around.

Pressure Drop - Toots and The Maytals

If you are near water at all, you need reggae.

Stuck with You - Huey Lewis and The News

Sure to make you feel like grabbing your girl and getting ice cream.

Green River - Creedence Clearwater Revival

This one has it all. Bullfrogs, rope swings, barefoot girls in the moonlight. Come on.

Santeria - Sublime

It’s always sunny with Sublime.

A Pirate Looks at Forty - Jimmy Buffet

Perfect for watching the sunset with a drink after a long day at the beach.

Tired of Being Alone - Al Green

No one wants to be alone in summer...find someone to dance with.

Anything But Mine - Kenny Chesney

This song is perfect. Enough said.

Could You Be Loved - Bob Marley

Again. Find water and crank this up.

Summer in the City - The Lovin' Spoonful

Somehow this song just sounds like the hottest day of the year.
