Dad Rock video: New albums out June 3

New records come out on Fridays now, which means it's time for a trip to the record store. The hosts of Paste BN's Dad Rock podcast have these releases on the shopping list for June 2:
Stranger to Stranger, Paul Simon: On his 13th solo album, the 74-year old singer-songwriter continues to explore new territory, continuing his obsession with polyrhythmic beats and even blending his folky style with some EDM.
Love you to Death, Tegan and Sara: The Canadian indie pop duo, and twin sisters, continue to mature as songwriters on their eighth album.
Basses Loaded, the Melvins: The new album by this veteran Seattle hard-rock band (a big influence on Kurt Cobain) features six different bassists, including Krist Novoselic from Nirvana and Steven McDonald of Redd Kross.
Vinyl reissues from Pink Floyd: The band's first four albums —The Piper at the Gates of Dawn, A Saucerful of Secrets, More and Ummagumma — are being re-released on vinyl. Fans who only know later-period Floyd from The Dark Side of the Moon and The Wall will hear a different band here, including the work of founding guitarist Syd Barrett (later replaced by David Gilmore) on the first two records.
