Kanye West, The Weeknd headline new NY festival
New York is getting yet another chance to see Kanye West.
The rapper, whose September shows at Madison Square Garden have already sold out, will headline the inaugural Meadows Music and Arts Festival, held Oct. 1 and 2 at Queens' Citi Field. The fest is presented by Founders Entertainment, whose Governors Ball West was set to play earlier this month, before the event's third and final day was canceled due to inclement weather.
Other highlights of the Meadows lineup include The Weeknd, Chance the Rapper, Kygo, Grimes, The 1975, Empires of the Sun, Bryson Tiller, Cage the Elephant, Savages, Damian "Jr. Gong" Marley, BØRNS, Chromeo, and Mac Miller.
All past Governors Ball ticket-holders will receive a promo code via email, for an exclusive pre-sale starting Wednesday at 11 a.m. ET. Tickets go on sale to the general public Thursday at 11 a.m. ET. To purchase tickets and for more information, visit themeadowsnyc.com.
