Police recover Nils Lofgren's stolen guitars, worth over $10k

Nils’ guitars are coming home.
The Dallas Police Department has announced on Twitter that an arrest has been made in the case of the four guitars that were stolen on the night of March 29 from E Street Band member and solo star Nils Lofgren in the parking lot of a Holiday Inn in Dallas.
The guitars have been "recovered."
“Looks like my guitars are coming back to me,” tweeted Lofgren early Monday, April 2. “Thank you to my crew who had to do double time, just so I could walk on stage. Fellow musicians who lovingly offered their own guitars. (My wife Amy Aiello Lofgren) who reminded me, believe.”

Three Takamine acoustic guitars and a sunburst Stratocaster were stolen, an act that “devastated” Lofgren. The guitars were worth more than $10,000.
He called up former bandmate Dr. Howard Kweller to help him get some new gear for his March 30 solo show at the Kessler Theater in Dallas. Kweller is the father of indie rocker Ben Kweller.
“A Good Samaritan, a police sting, handcuffs, guns drawn. People are under arrest,” tweeted Amy Aiello Lofgren on Monday. “We never lost hope. Crime doesn’t pay. Thank you to everyone. You all played a part.”
Lofgren is currently working on a solo album and he has shows in Northern California later this month. The E Street Band is on hiatus as frontman Bruce Springsteen is currently starring in Springsteen on Broadway, which runs through Dec. 15 in New York City.
