Cicely Tyson's giant hat turns heads at Aretha Franklin's funeral

Among the many celebrity mourners at Greater Grace Temple in Detroit for Aretha Franklin's funeral on Friday was award-winning actress Cicely Tyson. 

Tyson, 93, seated next to Tyler Perry, wore an amazing black hat. Twitter exploded with praise.

"Cicely Tyson is the (funeral's) resident church mother," one user tweeted. "Don’t y’all get it twisted. Late, walked up and sat in her rightful place up front."

"Cicely Tyson, the Black Community's Mother, looks gorgeous," read another tweet.

Tyson was one of many famous names in attendance for the funeral, joining stars like Ariana Grande, Bill Clinton, Faith Hill and Jesse Jackson.
