Bob Seger's 'final' tour will take him home to Detroit for 2 June shows

Detroit rocker Bob Seger, who's finishing out what he claims will be his last tour, with two hometown shows at DTE Energy Music Theatre on June 6 and June 8. He also announced 12 other new dates.

The "Old Time Rock and Roll" singer announced last September that he would be retiring from the road after more than 50 years.

Seger, who will turn 74 by the time he returns to play the Detroit shows, launched his Roll Me Away Tourwith the Silver Bullet Band in Grand Rapids, Michigan, last November.
