Mike Epps gets high school diploma at last
INDIANAPOLIS — Because it's never too late to make your mom happy, Indianapolis native Mike Epps revealed on his Instagram account that he has received his high school diploma from Arsenal Tech High School. The comedian and actor is originally from the east side of Indianapolis.
In his green cap and gown, Epps addressed the students. "This is so emotional to me because I didn't get a chance to graduate like this," he said. "Now that I'm 45 years old, my beautiful mama is sitting in the audience, she told me when I was younger, she said 'Mike, one day you're gonna wish you'd got your education.' And I didn't understand it."
Epps is set to star on ABC's Uncle Buck sitcom, which premieres June 14. He will also star as Richard Pryor in a biopic opposite Oprah Winfrey.
