Usher's new puppy cost a pretty penny

Have you met Usher's adorable new puppy?

He tweeted this photo of his furry friend on Friday, saying, "All in the name of feline fun! It took me 2 years but I outbid everyone this year to bring Poppy home."

So the dog's name is Poppy? Not exactly.

He followed up with: "Poppy (????) Raymond is what I'm think of namin' her..."however there are two gregarious 3- and 4-year-olds that will have the last say — and the responsibility that comes with her," the singer, 34, noted, referring to his two sons, Usher Raymond V and Naviyd Raymond.

And the price tag for the pup? $12,000, reports Us Weekly. But it was all in the name of charity.
