Evangeline Lilly shows off radical new 'do

Now, there's an interesting new look!

Lost star Evangeline Lilly hit the Hobbit red carpet in New Zealand today looking modern and fresh with a new cropped and dyed 'do.

The style is a radical departure from the low-key long-and-wavy chestnut locks that she usually sports.

No word on whether or not the two-tone look is for an upcoming role or if Lilly just felt like a change.

Lilly will star in the two Hobbit sequels in the trilogy, out in 2013 and 2014.
