Rosie O'Donnell shares baby pics, thoughts on Foster
Rosie O'Donnell is just another gushy mom.
The comedian has put her new baby's brag book online, posting more than a dozen snapshots of the darn cute Dakota (a k a Daks), her adopted newborn daughter with wife Michelle Rounds.
There's Dakota and Rosie sleeping. Dakota meeting big sister Vivi and big brother Blakey. Dakota gripping a French manicured finger (Rosie's caption? "Hang on baby.")
And then there are shots from Dakota's likely first professional photo shoot, curled up in blankets and capped with fuzzy hats.
Also on Rosie's mind? Jodie Foster's "rather amazing" Golden Globes speech. In a poem posted to her Rosie.com website on Wednesday, A Baby Born, O'Donnell puts some thoughts about her fellow famous 50-year-old into verse:
"i don't know jodie foster
we have a few mutual friends
from what i have heard
she is kind smart and shy
i have admired her from afar
cheered her on as she soared the show biz skies
braver smarter prettier better – but still
i saw parts of myself in her"
