Nicki Minaj's 'Elle' make-under: 'I felt naked!'

We've seen her pushing the fashion envelope with crazy colors and outrageous outfits.

But In the April issue of Elle, on newsstands March 26, American Idol judge Nicki Minaj gets a major make-under.

"To go in front of the camera, without pink lips or big ol' crazy lashes — you know, nothing — I felt naked," Minaj saysiof the shoot. "It was scary!"

In one photo, she's wearing a T-shirt and jeans for a "simply sexy" look. On the cover she wears Tom Ford.

"When I saw myself with barely any makeup at, it was such a… like, I'm so, so attached to my pink lipstick, it's hard. I feel that it's become a part of me. ... So this photo shoot was a real accomplishment in my eyes."

Minaj also talks to Elle about bullying, offers her advice for women and shares her life goal: "world domination..."!
