Zoe Saldana bares all for 'Allure'
Avatar actress Zoe Saldana isn't being shy in the pages of the June issue of Allure.
This isn't the annual get-naked issue, but there she is without a stitch of clothes.
But she knows what she wants, she says in the interview. "If I have something good in front of me — it doesn't matter if it's a person or a pair of shoes — I'm not going to test something else."
After some 12 years of dating entrepreneur Keith Britton, and a far shorter and more tumultuous time spent with Bradley Cooper, she is single. "Been there, done that, got the T-shirt," she says of dating actors.
On her sexuality: "[I might] end up with a woman raising my children … that's how androgynous I am."
She has pride in her ethnicity: "It doesn't matter how much backlash I will get for it, I will honor and respect my black community because that's who I am."
She adds, "It's hard enough to be a woman on this earth. So to be an American or black or Latina, it's arbitrary compared to our battles as women."
On pursuing what she wants:
"It's OK to say, 'This is what I want' — and go after it. And if it doesn't happen, it's OK. Be a reasonable person with yourself."
