Facebook, Napster guru Sean Parker gets married
With "modern and whimsical" creations, as the groom himself put it, Facebook's first president and the co-founder of Napster, Sean Parker, married singer-songwriter Alexandra Helen Lenas on Saturday.
According to Parker's rep, Matthew Hiltzik, the two celebrated "with 300 family and friends in a romantic, magical setting at The Ventana Inn in Big Sur, Calif."
Although there was some buzz that the wedding would have a Game of Thrones theme, Parker cleared that up in April, tweeting, "Sorry to disappoint, but the wardrobe we're giving wedding guests is essentially modern. No swords or chain mail."
Other details shared by the two:
The couple's baby daughter, Winter, who was born this year, was part of the ceremony.
The bride wore a dress designed by Elie Saab.
The groom's wardrobe, guests' and flower girls' attire and little Winter's dress were all designed by Oscar winner Ngila Dickson.
Music was by The Good, The Bad and The Ginger and Loreena McKennit. Assisting with the nuptials were designer Ken Fulk, caterer Paula LeDuc and designer Preston Bailey, who did the flowers.
Parker's fortune is estimated at $2 billion at Forbes.com. In 2004, Parker joined Facebook, becoming its first president. He left the company in 2005 and is now a managing partner at venture capital firm Founders Fund, reports Reuters. He is a backer of Spotify.
Justin Timberlake played Parker in the 2010 movie The Social Network.
