Alexander Skarsgard gives Ellen Page a sweet smooch

It seems safe to say that Alexander Skarsgard and Ellen Page are more than just co-stars in the movie The East.

The film's director, Zal Batmanglij, snapped this photo and shared it on Twitter during a weekend promo trip to San Francisco.

Alongside the sweet pic, he wrote: "This reminds me of shooting. When we'd lie in the grass listening to Toby practice Rostam's piano piece. #TheEast.

Page, 26, re-tweeted the photo.

The Daily Mailsays True Blood star Skarsgard, 36, and Juno star Page have been dating for a year and were first seen on a date at the Stanley Cup final in June 2012 after meeting on the set of The East the previous winter. They have been spotted on red carpets together, too.

Meanwhile, True Blood fans who are awaiting Skarsgard's return in the HBO show don't have much longer to wait. Season 6 kicks off Sunday night at 9 p.m.
