Jamie Lee Curtis 'resting' after car crash

Jamie Lee Curtis got into a car accident on Thursday in Venice, Calif.

It was "serious" enough, says TMZ, that she and another person (Curtis was a passenger in the car) were taken to the hospital by an ambulance.

But before she was taken to the ER, TMZ says, Curtis, 54, called Jodie Foster, who showed up almost immediately — just like out of a movie.

Curtis' rep confirmed the incident to Gossip Cop, adding that Curtis "went to the hospital to be checked out, but she is fine and is home resting."
