'True Blood' star Rutina Wesley files for divorce

Rutina Wesley, who plays Tara Thornton on HBO's sexy vampire saga True Blood, has filed for divorce from her husband, fellow actor Jacob Fishel, People and TMZare reporting.

The divorce papers, filed Aug. 16 in Los Angeles County Superior Court, cite "irreconcilable differences" and indicate that Wesley wants the judge to deny Fishel any spousal support, according to People.

Wesley, 34, and Fishel, who met in acting school at Juilliard, had been married for eight years.

Season 6 of True Blood wrapped on Sunday night.
