Elisabeth Hasselbeck gets Fox debut date

As The View moves on with Jenny McCarthy making her debut Sept 9, Elisabeth Hasselbeck is getting ready for her Fox & Friends debut.

Her first day as co-host of the Fox News Channel's morning show will be Monday, Sept. 16, Fox announced Thursday.

The former co-host of The View will sit in a newly redesigned set and will join co-hosts Steve Doocy and Brian Kilmeade, who have been on the show since 1998.

Hasselbeck will interview newsmakers, celebrities and politicians in her new role.
