Taylor Momsen gives up the goth-girl look

Things had gotten to the point where it seemed like former Gossip Girl actress-turned-rocker Taylor Momsen was beginning to be known more for her raccoon-esque eyeliner than her acting or music.

But it looks like she's finally given up the goth look and is (thankfully) headed in a lighter direction.

Momsen, 20, popped up at a few New York Fashion Week shows with a new look -- gold smoky eye and glossy orange lips -- that is a night-and-day difference from her old over-the-top goth-rocker aesthetic.

Despite her sunny new look, Momsen is still missing one key beauty element: a smile.
