Jon Hamm to have throat surgery
Jon Hamm, 42, will be visiting the doc next week to have a procedure performed on his throat.
Life & Style reports that Hamm will head to Boston for the surgery to remove a polyp next week. The mag reports that Hamm's Mad Men co-star January Jones was talking about it at an Emmy party.
The Johns Hopkins Medicine Health Library site describes a polyp as "a soft, benign (noncancerous) growth, similar to a blister."
All that Don Draper smoking couldn't have been good for Hamm.
Hamm's rep, Erica Gray, confirms to Paste BN that the actor is "having a single polyp removed." She adds that it's "routine outpatient procedure."
