Lauren Conrad announces her engagement

Lauren Conrad is showing off some new bling.

The former reality-TV star announced her engagement to her boyfriend, USC law student William Tell, on her website on Sunday. "I am very excited to share with you guys that William and I got engaged over the weekend. I am beyond thrilled!" wrote Conrad, throwing in a plug for her site. "Get ready for lots more wedding content here on LaurenConrad.com as we begin the planning process."

She also posted a photo of her left hand showing off her engagement ring, a solitaire diamond on a simple gold band. The couple have been dating about two years.

Conrad later added, "William and I are overwhelmed by all of your warm wishes. Thank you so much for sharing in this special moment :-) XO Lauren."
