'Forbes' 2013 list of 'Most Overpaid Actors'

Time for another Forbes list.

This one is 2013's Most Overpaid Actors.

And coming in at No. 1 is ... Adam Sandler. While he can command a $15 million paycheck for a movie, says Forbes, he doesn't always bring in big bucks for studios and a string of flops hasn't helped.

His recent Grown Ups 2 did really well, grossing $246 million on a budget of $80 million, says Forbes. But Jack & Jill didn't have a large profit margin and That's My Boy was a flat-out flop.

Methodology/Criteria: To compile the list Forbes looked at the last three movies each actor starred in over the past three years ending June 1, 2013. That criteria eliminated a lot of actors right away if they hadn't starred in three movies. Looking at payday, movie budgets and expenses, Forbes calculated a return on investment number for each star and then averaged those numbers to get an overall return.
