Tara Reid, 38, teased her Twitter followers over the weekend when she posted a photo of herself with a big diamond ring on her left hand.

She captioned it: "I'm so in love!"

So is the Sharknado actress headed for the altar?

Turns out the answer is no.

She later followed up with the note: "I'm not engaged," and explained it's part of her "costume" for her new horror movie, Charlie's Farm.
