New Scrabble dictionary adds 5,000 words
Now this is a real game changer!
Merriam-Webster announced today that the fifth edition of The Official Scrabble Players Dictionary – the first major update in nearly a decade – will include more than 5,000 new words. It will be officially sanctioned on Dec. 1.

Currently, the word with the highest-scoring possibility is QUINZHEE, at a maximum point value of 401 points.
What does it mean? It's a temporary snow shelter.
