Neil Patrick Harris marries David Burtka in Italy

bright and early during host chat Monday morning.

"I spent the weekend in Italy. I went to a destination wedding. I went to the wedding of Neil Patrick Harris and his partner David Burtka. They got married! Yes! Breaking news."

She added, "It was very quiet, very private, very family affair."

"I probably wasn't even supposed to talk about it," she said, then laughed and added that Harris said it was ok to chat.

"It was a beautiful, beautiful family affair in Perugia, Italy. They rented a castle."

More details she shared:

"Sir Elton John performed.

There were fireworks.

The food was amazing.

There were magic tricks because you know Neil is way into magic."

Neil and David have twins Gideon and Harper. Harper was the flower girl, and Gideon was supposed to be the ring bearer, said Kelly, but instead he was the "Orange Boy." He had a tux and top hat and passed out oranges.

By the time Kelly was done with the story, NPH confirmed the happy news.
