HOLLYWOOD - Comedian Eric Andre has a unique perspective on the rape allegations that have dogged comedian Bill Cosby over the last weeks.

The star of Adult Swim's The Eric Andre Show employs comedian Hannibal Buress as his co-host. And it was Buress who started the renewed look at decades old allegations against Cosby that had been virtually ignored by the media until 2014.

A poorly shot, shaky cellphone video clip of Buress's routine where he called Cosby a "rapist," got media attention and more than 100,000 views.

So when we met up with Andre for our #TalkingTech interview, we talked gadgets, cellphone addiction and the rise of social media--as well as his take on how Buress's YouTube clip caught on.

"What's sad about it, is why when Hannibal said it, people gave it the proper attention, but when the actual victims said it...it didn't start the firestorm," Andre said.

The Eric Andre Show airs on Adult Swim Thursdays at 12:15 am ET.
