Celeb superlatives: Romantic Clooney, chillin' Kim K.

Paste BN's Donna Freydkin digs through the latest celebrity news for highlights ... and lowlights. Think high school yearbook superlatives — if George Clooney and Kim Kardashian were classmates.

Most romantic live TV moment ever:

George Clooney. He picked up a career achievement award at the Golden Globes. Oscars, money, fame -- that's all great. But love is where it's at for former blissful bachelor Clooney: "I've had a pretty good year myself. I'm not just referring to the fabulous reviews of The Monuments Men. It's a humbling thing when you find someone to love. Amal, whatever alchemy brought us together, I couldn't be more proud to be your husband," he said to his wife. Color us smitten.

Worst case of trolls winning: Lena Dunham. The fourth season of her show Girls premiered on Sunday. That same day, at the Golden Globes, she announced she was taking a break from Twitter because the negativity was getting her down. This, despite her being one of the funniest, most thoughtful Twitter posters. Take heart, Lena. Don't let them win. While her account remains active, "I deleted Twitter from my phone and sometimes send a tweet to a friend I trust to post if I'm out and about and wanna share," she said.

Parenthood news most potentially upsetting to fans: Benedict Cumberbatch. He and fiancée Sophie Hunter are expecting a Cumberbaby. And we're thinking his very vocal Cumbercollective will take a deep breath and start shopping for customized onesies. Because if nothing else, this will be a very Cumberclever child.

Most in need of watching The Weather Channel: Kim Kardashian. She was in Manhattan during an arctic blast, when temps dipped into single digits, to attend John Legend's birthday party, held at Catch NYC downtown. Naturally, she and husband Kanye West were front and center. And naturally, her cleavage proved impervious to weather, as were her sandal-shod feet. That's some Celsius superpowers, Kim.

Best yes-or-no game: Keira Knightley. Numerous outlets are trumpeting her pregnancy. Knightley, never one to discuss anything personal with the press, stayed mum (pun intended) until Friday, when she said she is pregnant, and discussed her new ability to sleep anywhere, any time. But even before that, her glorious yellow flowing gown at the BAFTA party in L.A. sort of spoke for itself. Sort of.

Worst case of not being lovestruck: Jennifer Aniston. Here's her first impression of fiancé Justin Theroux, as told to InStyle: "I remember thinking, Isn't he hot? But he was actually really quiet. I later came to find out that he was just exhausted because he had been writing nonstop, like a little hamster on a wheel. This was his one night off, and he had no personality, but he was very sweet and very overdressed." Give her points for honesty, folks.
