Actor and comedian Wayne Brady opened up about his severe depression a few months ago, and he tells Paste BN's Arienne Thompson that sharing his harrowing story has helped some of his fans.

On the BET Honors red carpet, he told Paste BN that his decision to go public with his struggles helped some fans and strangers with their own problems, and may have even helped save lives.
