Police called to Bobbi Kristina's home
A week before Bobbi Kristina Brown was found unresponsive in her bathtub, neighbors called police because of a domestic dispute at her townhouse.
According to a 911 call made on Jan. 23 and released Tuesday, a man who identified himself as a security guard at the gated community where Brown lives told a dispatcher neighbors said people were fighting outside the home Brown shares with Nick Gordon, reports AP.
"Just had a neighbor call and report saying people were hitting each other and swinging outside in front of the townhomes in Ellard Village," a man who identified himself as Rick Gilbert from Ellard Securities said in the call, reports E! News.
The guard did not give descriptions of the people involved in the fight. And because he couldn't be specific, the dispatcher then recommended he tell the neighbors to call 911 directly.
Police have revealed few details about the circumstances of the Brown case, citing an ongoing investigation.
But Roswell Police Chief Rusty Grant told CNN on Tuesday night: "I can confirm that we have a criminal investigation ongoing."
Christopher Brown, Bobby Brown's Boston-based attorney, said as much in a statement on Tuesday. "This is a criminal investigation and the integrity of that process requires silence."
