She's known as "Big Ang."
Real name: Angela Raiola. She's one of the stars of VH1's Mob Wives, about Staten Island women with family connections to the Mafia.
And she's had a "nerve wracking" past few days.
TMZ reported that the reality TV star's doctors discovered she had a "massive throat tumor." They characterized it as being the size of a "lemon."
Big Ang, 54, in a Facebook post, confirmed late Thursday that she has a "nodule" in her throat.
TMZ today reports that it's malignant.
Ang did not address that in her post. She says she is not at the hospital now. " I am home peaceful and relaxing. This coming week I will be taking proper precautions and having it removed."
And she promised, "Big Ang isn't going anywhere!"
