Courtney Love's car attacked in Paris Uber strike

Paris taxi drivers protesting the app-based ride service Uber have come into conflict with Courtney Love, according to the singer's Twitter feed.
Love, 50, tweeted Thursday morning that picketers attacked her car, and included a photo of what appears to be egg on the car window:
She continued tweeting, saying that the protested "ambushed" her car and were holding her driver hostage:
She then called out France's president, Francois Hollande for not having more of a police presence on the roadways. "Francois Hollande, where are the (expletive) police???" she tweeted. "Is it legal for your people to attack visitors? Get your (expletive) to the airport..."
She continued by saying that she paid "some guys on motorcycles" to sneak her out, although she was chased by "a mob of taxi drivers," and passed police who "did nothing."
She then posted on her Instagram a video of herself in the backseat of a car while men speak in French around her, captioning the video:
"how on earth are these people allowed to do this? the first car was destroyed, all tires slashed and beat with bats, these guys trying to open the doors and the cops are doing nothing?? French Taliban? civil reform needed in France?? I want to go home"
