Nick Cannon posts pic from hospital bed

Nick Cannon is making a "temporary pit stop."

The America's Got Talent host, 34, posted a picture to his Instagram Wednesday showing himself in a hospital bed. But he was quick to reassure his fans that nothing too serious was going on.

He captioned the photo:

Dont worry, Temporary pit stop... Sometimes I can be a little too bull headed and stubborn. I gotta stop running my body to the ground. I be wanting to grind nonstop but the engine can't run on fumes. On the low though, I really think I'm a super hero... Now I'm not saying I'm Batman, but I am saying nobody has ever seen me and Batman in the same room together. LOL #ImGood

While it's unclear exactly why Cannon is in the hospital, other than "running his body into the ground," the actor has been very outspoken about living with Lupus over the years.

In an interview with the Huffington Post in 2014, he said his illness "actually drives me."

"I just want to get out there and continue to educate and be that pillar in the community to say, 'Hey, well he's doing it and he's strong when he does it.' So I feel like it's given me new purpose on this Earth, so I embrace it wholeheartedly," he added.
