Radiohead's Thom Yorke, wife separate

This summer has not been kind to rock-star marriages and it's just claimed another: that of Radiohead frontman Thom Yorke and his college sweetheart Rachel Owen.

On Saturday, Yorke released a statement to NME announcing, "Rachel and I have separated. After 23 highly creative and happy years, for various reasons we have gone our separate ways. It's perfectly amicable and has been common knowledge for some time."

The couple met at Exeter University and have two children, Noah and Agnes.
