'Arrow' star Colton Haynes opens up about anxiety battle

Former Arrow and Teen Wolf star Colton Hayes is opening up about his struggle with anxiety.

The actor, who played sidekick Arsenal on the CW superhero show and Jackson on the MTV series, opened up to his fans on Twitter Tuesday, first by sharing an Upvoted article about the effects of anxiety on social status and then with a series of tweets about his personal battle.

Haynes most recently appeared in this summer's disaster movie San Andreas, alongside Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson. He spent two season on MTV's Teen Wolf before starting on Arrow, where he left at the end of last season at the conclusion of his contract.

A little while after his initial tweets Haynes sent out another message, thanking fans for the well-wishes and support.
