ATCQ to honor Phife Dawg in Queens Monday

A Tribe Called Quest has been remembering one of its founders, Phife Dawg, in the week since the rapper died. After posting tributes to the artist and sharing a Periscope stream of themselves, they're inviting fans to join in celebrating the artist born Malik Taylor.

The group tweeted out a link to a site that says:

Please meet us at St. Albans Park in Queens, NY on April 4th at 10:30am. The first 200 fans to arrive will receive something very special!

Phife Dawg passed away March 22 "due to complications resulting from diabetes," spokesperson Carleen Donovan told Paste BN.
