Hacker hijacks Katy Perry's Twitter, tweets at Taylor Swift
Twitter's most-followed account -- belonging to Katy Perry -- just suffered a hack.
A hacker gained access to Perry's account on Monday, sharing homophobic slurs and messages for arch-rival Taylor Swift with the singer's 89 million followers, as well as leaking an allegedly unreleased Perry song on Soundcloud. and a screenshot of an allegedly leaked song
The tweets, which have since been deleted, included "miss u baby @taylorswift" and “haha follow @sw4ylol #hackersgonnahack."
The hacker's account is currently still active, and shared a screenshot that's appears to be a takedown notice from Soundcloud for the purported new Katy Perry song, uploaded with the title "Witness 1.3."
Perry's account has yet to acknowledge the hack. The account's most recent current tweet, from Monday morning, quotes Hillary Clinton to honor the troops for Memorial Day.
