Celebrities react to Dallas police slayings


For the third consecutive day, Twitter's red, blue and centrist factions are expressing prayers, disbelief over the current state of our country, and in some corners, combative and seditious thoughts.

Celebrity accounts are no exception.

Some misfired, like Mischa Barton, who ended up apologizing for an Instagram post that discussed the Alton Sterling and Philando Castile shootings that happened to be juxtaposed with a photo of herself relaxing on a boat in a bikini.

But most reaction following Thursday's killing of five Dallas police officers during a protest came down to two notions: two wrongs don't make a right and that caring about black lives is not incompatible with caring about blue ones.
