Twitter reacts to Taylor Swift’s huge court victory

Taylor Swift may have only won a symbolic $1 in the case of whether an ex-radio DJ grabbed her rear end, but her legal win was a huge moral victory for herself and her fans.
On Monday afternoon, an eight-member jury determined that Swift was groped by David Mueller at a meet-and-greet before her concert in 2013. Swift's confident turn on stand, helped a jury unanimously find that Swift was touched inappropriately.
Swift supporters responded with cheers on Twitter, calling Swift "the best role model" for standing up for herself in court.
Many saw Swift's case as a victory for all women.
Swift should be feeling the love.
Swift said in a statement that she recognizes "the privilege that I benefit from in life, in society and in my ability to shoulder the enormous cost of defending myself in a trial like this."
The pop star continued: "My hope is to help those whose voices should also be heard. Therefore, I will be making donations in the near future to multiple organizations that help sexual assault victims defend themselves."
